A 'no-show' incurs a fee equivalent to the full service cost, charged to your credit card on file. In case of a declined payment, an invoice will be sent via text message or email, due within 48 hours. Further bookings are suspended until the fee is settled. Additionally, missed appointments without payment lead to suspension of online booking privileges. All appointments are confirmed via email and/or text message.

Thank you for choosing DermaDreams! Your support is deeply cherished, and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to serve you.
What can I expect during my first visit?
Stepping into DermaDreams is like opening the first page of your very own skincare fairytale. Together, we’ll uncover your skin’s story and create a treatment plan to bring out its happiest ending.
How often should I come in for treatments?
Think of your skin as an enchanted garden—it flourishes with regular care. Depending on your treatment, I recommend visiting every 4-6 weeks to maintain your glow and keep your skin thriving.
Will my treatment hurt?
No scary spells here! Most of my treatments are gentle and relaxing, but if we’re tackling something more advanced, I’ll guide you through every step so you feel as comfortable as a soft cloud drifting through the sky.
How long until I see results?
While some results, like a post-facial glow, appear instantly, others blossom over time. Consistency and patience are the enchanted keys to unlocking your most radiant you.
Can I wear makeup after my appointment?
Your skin will be basking in its post-treatment glow, so it’s best to let it breathe for 24 hours. Consider it a well-deserved beauty rest for your skin!
What are some waxing contraindications?
To keep your skin happy and safe, please consider the following before your waxing appointment:
• Skin on the Mend: If your skin is healing from an infection, rash, or any open wounds, let it recover before waxing to avoid irritation.
• Sunburn: If you’ve been soaking up the sun, it’s best to wait until your skin feels calm again. Sunburned skin can be more sensitive to waxing.
• Fresh Treatments: After chemical peels or laser treatments, or microneedling, your skin needs time to recover. Waxing too soon could cause sensitivity.
• Medications: If you’re on Accutane, blood thinners, or antibiotics, your skin might be more delicate, and prone to lifting. I recommend waiting until your course of treatment is complete
• Sensitive Skin Conditions: If you’re dealing with conditions like eczema, psoriasis, or any other dermatitis in the area to be waxed, waxing may not be the right option for you.
I’m here to guide you with care—if you have any doubts, don’t hesitate to reach out, and we’ll find the best service for you.
Pre-Care: Preparing for Your Facial Appointment
1. Clear the Canvas: Arrive with a fresh, makeup-free face so we can work directly with your skin’s natural beauty.
2. Skip the Potions: Hold off on active skincare ingredients like retinol or exfoliants such as chemical (Lactic acid, Glycolic acid, Salicylic acid, Etc.) or manual exfoliants (scrubs, loofah, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning etc.) at least 7 days before your appointment—your skin deserves a little break before the magic begins.
3. Hydration is Key: Drink lots of water leading up to your visit; think of it as your skin’s secret elixir for combatting those pesky fine lines.
4. Pause the Sun Spells: Avoid prolonged sun exposure or tanning for at least a week beforehand—your skin needs its natural glow for the best results.
Post-Care: Nurturing Your Enchanted Facial Glow
1. Protect Your Treasure: Sunscreen is your armor—apply and re-apply SPF 30+ daily to keep your glow safe from harm.
2. Be Gentle: Avoid scrubs, retinol, or other active products like chemical exfoliants for 5-7 days post-treatment. Your skin is in its renewal phase and needs only the gentlest care.
3. Hydration: Keep sipping water—it’s the simplest way to keep your glow going strong
4. No Touching: Avoid touching, picking, or scratching your skin—it’s part of the sacred magic!
5. Follow the Path: Schedule your follow-up appointment to continue your skin journey—this is just the first chapter
Facial Contraindications:
To ensure a safe and effective facial experience, please consider the following contraindications before booking your appointment:
• Active Skin Infections: Open wounds, cold sores, or any skin infections should be allowed to heal before receiving a facial. This will prevent further irritation or infection.
• Severe Sunburn: If your skin has been recently sunburned, give it time to recover and heal before undergoing a facial treatment.
• Recent Chemical Peels, Laser Treatments, Or Microneedling: After these procedures, your skin may be too sensitive for facials. Please wait until your skin is fully healed before scheduling.
• Accutane or Strong Acne Medications: If you’re currently on Accutane or other medications for acne, facials should be postponed, as your skin may be more fragile and sensitive.
• Blood Thinners: If you are taking blood thinners (such as aspirin, warfarin, or other anticoagulants), facials that involve extractions or more intensive treatments may not be suitable due to the risk of bruising or excessive bleeding.
• Antibiotics: If you are on antibiotics, your skin may be more sensitive. It’s best to wait until the course of antibiotics is completed before receiving a facial.
If you’re unsure whether a facial is right for you due to any of these conditions or medications, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll be happy to guide you toward the best treatment options to keep your skin glowing, happy, and safe!
